Purus is a pure translation of our local clone into wine. The fruit is from the cool southern end of Margaret River. The tiny 100g Gin Gin clusters are hand harvested at first light to preserve freshness of fruit.

Gin Gin clone Chardonnay | Single Vineyard
Hand picked, whole cluster pressed. The clear juice was fermented using a pure yeast strain. In order to preserve the purity of fruit and natural acidity, the wine had no malo‐lactic fermentation.
42% new 228L French oak barrels for 10 months with low toast levels. The wood is primarily from the Voges and Allier forests.
Attractive in youth | up to 8 years maturation.
