2017 James Halliday Wine Companion
Bruce and the team are very proud to announce yet another 5 star rating by James Halliday in his 2017 Wine Companion.
Results are:
2013 Morus - 98pts
"A wall of flavour abuts a wall of tannin. This is a three course dinner in liquid fromm, it's density and architectural style both cut from the finest of cloths and sprinkled with perfume. Nameing blackcurrant, gravel, cloves and dark chocolate doesn't do any kind of justice. We're much better off simply calling it as it is: A brilliant wine."

2014 Artus - 96pts
"... This sits comfortably alongside the best of the region, and will be unusually long lived"
2014 Rachis - 96pts
"It's medium weight and yet it announces its quality in smoky sophistication of the finish. Value, all things considered, doesn't come much better"
2014 Floris - 95pts
"... Totally delicious now, but it will hold it's form for the rest of the decade (and beyond)"
2014 Rebus - 95pts
"Medium weight tipping into full bodied. Blackberry, wood smoke, cassis, bay and gravel like notes make a confident sweep through the palate, taking grainy tannin in their stride"
