DISCOVER SYRAH
Margaret River Syrah is noteworthy because of its fragrance and attractiveness in it’s youth. Syrah is picked at moderate ripeness to retain elegance.

92pts Melissa Moore, MW WinePilot "Fragrant aromas of blue and black fruits - blueberry, blackberry, black plums - fuse with violet florals and some deeper liquorice notes in this cooler, maritime climate Syrah version of Shiraz."

91pts James Suckling "A spicy and meaty nose of white pepper, grilled herbs and black cherries. Medium-bodied with silky tannins. Juicy and fresh with a leafy finish. Drink now.”

Melissa Moore, MW WinePilot "With no Rachis made in 2020, all the fruit was declassified into the Discovery Syrah and a 'super cuvee' was made... The palate is ripe and smooth, and full of plush fruit richness, balanced by a fresh burst of acidity and then a savoury liquorice finish. Grippy tannins complete the picture and put me in mind of a dish of grilled lamb backstrap from the BBQ with a roasted beetroot salad. Excellent value.”

93 Jordan “Beautiful expression of this slightly lighter style of Shiraz. This is just gorgeous with perfumed aromas of spicy plum and a trace of violet. The palate is sublime. Smooth and textured with a fine tannin and oak integration.”

93 Jordan Dukes picks a little earlier than usual to capture the spicy elegance he seeks ..... the result is a fragrant almost atypically Australian style of shiraz with lovely spiced and primary fruit characters."
